Prof. Yamei Yu is an internationally renowned violinist and highly sought-after pedagogue. She studied in China and Germany and is a prizewinner of several major international violin competitions. As a soloist and chamber musician, she performs regularly on international stages.
In addition to her concert career, she is deeply committed to the education of young musicians. She has been teaching as a professor of violin for many years and regularly gives masterclasses.

Masterclass with Prof. Ilya Grubert
On Sunday, May 2, 2027, a violin masterclass with Prof. Ilya Grubert will take place at the Beethoven Conservatorium in Venlo, the Netherlands, as part of the International Violin Junior Competition 2027.
Ilya Grubert was born in Riga and studied with leading representatives of the Russian violin school, including Yuri Yankelevich, Zinaida Gilels, and Leonid Kogan. He achieved his international breakthrough in 1978, when he won first prizes at both the Paganini Competition in Genoa and the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.
As a soloist, he has performed worldwide with renowned orchestras and conductors and has built an extensive discography with labels such as RCA, Naxos, and Chandos. Today, Ilya Grubert lives in the Netherlands and is Professor of Violin at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. His students regularly win prizes at national and international competitions.

Masterclass with Misha Nodelman
On Sunday, May 2, 2027, a violin masterclass with Misha Nodelman will take place at the International Anton Rubinstein Music Academy in Düsseldorf as part of the International Violin Junior Competition 2027.
Misha Nodelman was born in St. Petersburg and received his musical education at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. He later continued his studies with Prof. Zakhar Bron in Cologne and completed his degree with the Konzertexamen. He is a prizewinner of several international violin competitions and received both first prize and a special prize at the Eurasia-2 International Violin Competition.
Misha Nodelman performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. He is First Concertmaster of the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen and leader of the Nodelman Quartet. Since the winter semester 2022/23, he has been teaching violin at the International Anton Rubinstein Music Academy in Düsseldorf.
